Laura Douglas MA LPC
I specialize in treating children, adolescences, and adults with depression, anxiety, aggression, co-dependency, trauma, addiction/recovery, and dual diagnosis. My experience and training has allowed me to work with clients suffering with self-harming, suicidal ideation, trauma, PTSD, mood instability, autism, behavior problems, grief, chronic and acute health issues, and mental illness.
I have a particular interest in working with families and children around issues related to behavior problems, communication, relationship issues, parenting, and anxiety. Therapy can be a helpful tool in reducing confusion and repeating self-defeating behaviors while improving your interpersonal skills.
There are many life changes both positive and negative we face daily. Sometimes we get stuck in our emotions, feelings and unhealthy behaviors. Whether you are new to therapy, working on maintaining stability, or seeking to address the underlying issues, together we can determine the best course of action and interventions for your personality and needs to help you reach your goals.
Available to you, is to include your faith or spirituality within your treatment; I have been educated in multiple religious, spiritual, and cultural accommodations to include in your treatment upon your request.
